By taking a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, our programs focus on safety, trust, individuality, and personal choice which assist residents in developing the skills necessary to successfully live with greater independence. residents in our programs receive support around self-advocacy, collaborative decision making and healthy relationships, enabling them to work toward their goals from a person-centered perspective.
Our housing programs are located in Ontario, Seneca, Tompkins, and Wayne Counties. We serve 176 residents across our community residences, supportive apartments, and Single Room Occupancy (SRO). All staff receive extensive training in the recovery process and trauma-informed care, and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to collaborate with the resident and assist them in moving toward their personal goals. Our housing programs are certified by the New York State Office of Mental Health
